D'Amelio Dog Pack operates this website. This notice explains what information the site collects and how it is used.
What we collect
When you sign up for pack walk email updates, we receive the email address you provide.
When you nominate a rescue dog through the Spot-light form, we receive what you choose to submit: the dog's name, location, photo, current situation, story, any adoption listing link, and urgency, along with your name, your email address, an Instagram or TikTok handle if you include one, and your confirmation that you have permission to share the dog's photo and story.
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics tools, or advertising pixels on this site.
How we use it
To send you the pack walk updates you requested, to review Spot-light nominations and contact you about them, and, where you have given permission, to feature a nominated dog's photo and story on this site and on our social media. We do not sell your personal information.
Who processes it
Form submissions, including uploaded photos, are received and stored by Netlify, the service that hosts this website. The welcome email you receive after signing up for pack walk updates is sent through Resend. To prevent abuse of that welcome email, the site keeps a short-lived daily count of requests per internet (IP) address, stored by Netlify and not linked to your email address. We do not share your information with anyone else except as needed to operate the site or as required by law.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, email contact@thedamelios.com. If you signed up for pack walk emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or by emailing us.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do.
